The Hamilton Watch Company was founded in 1892 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Hamilton Watches is currently owned by The Swatch Group and its manufacturing plant is now in Switzerland.

Hamilton Watches supplied watches to American troops in World War I and produced more than 1 million Hamilton Khaki watches for the US military during World War II.
