Tag Heuer watches originated in Switzerland in 1860 when Edward Heuer decided that he would equip sportsman with fine time instruments. His deep passion for sports motivated him to a series of patents and innovations. In 1985 he embarked on a new journey of bringing to the world one of the best watches with respect to technology, performance and design with his association with the Tag group.
Tag Heuer was the first to patent a chronograph mechanism in 1882. Until 1998, when the Kirium Ti5 in grade 5 titanium and carbon fiber launched, Tag Heuer watches wrote some of the greatest chapters in watch making history.
Their expertise is reflected in the impressive number of patents making TAG Heuer one of the key references in Swiss Made watch-making know-how. Accuracy and workmanship are the unique aspects of a Tag Heuer watch. In 1950 Heuer introduced the Mareograph Seafarer, a wristwatch with chronograph functions and a tide indicator.
The Aquaracer sports watch was introduced to provide an ideal water sports watch. Based on the design and features of the timeless 2000 series, launched in 1982, TAG Heuer’s watchmakers and designers created an original sports watch that is water- resistant to 300 meters.
The Men's range includes the Automatic chronograph, Aquagraph automatic chronograph, Quartz chronograph, Automatic watch, and the Quartz watch. The TAG Heuer Link series is an exclusive series that maintains the perfect balance of sport and perfection. In 2005, TAG Heuer launched the new Link collection, which brought out a contemporary; sober yet sophisticated design of watches. Elegance blended with the sporty look is Tag Heuer's trademark. The men's Link collection includes the Automatic chronograph, Calibre 36 chronometer, Quartz chronograph, Automatic chronometer Automatic watch, and the Quartz watch.
The Tag Heuer Formula 1 collection is exclusively for Kimi Raikonen fans. These watches are meant for men of action, adventure, and sport. There is a Specialists range, which are segmented as Golf watches, Microtimer and Kirium F1.
The Autavia collection was originally launched in 1933 as a tribute to the world of aviation and motorcars. Modified in 1969, the new Autavia is similar to the original model created in the 1960s with its crown to the left and with a Calibre 11. It captivates a delicate mix of audacity and power.
The Monza Range comes in three models - Automatic chronograph, the Calibre 36 chronometer, and the Automatic watch.
The Kirium comes in three models, the chronograph, the Kirium F1 and the watch. It is considered the avant-garde of Tag Heuer.
